Originally from New York City and now based in Lawrence, MA, Christal has been immersed in dance since childhood. Growing up in school and after-school programs, she developed a deep passion for movement to music. Specializing in street and social dance styles such as hip-hop freestyle, choreography, lite feet, dancehall, salsa, bachata, and merengue. Christal also has an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Northern Essex Community College and continues evolving as an educator and a dancer. Outside of Movement City, she is currently a paraprofessional for Lawrence Public Schools and a member of the legendary Boston-based hip-hop crew Phunk Phenomenon. Whether she’s on stage or in a classroom, Christal dedicates herself to teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others through her passion and skill.
